They say in your sleep,
"You are not yours, you are ours, you now belong here..."
Eyes open to familiar nothings that have a connection to someone other than you. The bed, the window, the carpet, it's all wrong, but how? Memories of you with strangers at places you've never been flood your mind with no clue to what your real past was.
They whisper from the dark,
"You are not yours, you are ours, you now belong here..."
The window's view is of nothing but dark oblivion save for one point of light, a hope for escape from this imposter life. You contemplate your escape and the risk of falling into oblivion, but how could that be different from where you are now.
They scream as you fall,
"You are not yours, you are ours, you now belong here..."
As the light of your only hope slowly fades and you struggle against oblivion, a calmness grows inside you. You relax your muscles and look away from the light and simply fall, never to land. This dismal fate you will endure is your destiny and no other memories remain.
They echo for eternity, "You are not yours, you are ours, you now belong here..."
