On the night before Halloween the Underworld is abuzz
Attracting all sorts of creatures with wings, fangs, and fuzz
On the night before Halloween they all get in a line
Waiting not so patiently for that perfect time
When the clock rings midnight, all the creatures shout
A doorway to our world opens, and the Monsters are let out
You may not see them in the day, for that is when they plan
They figure out a way to do as much damage as they can
So if you look for beasties on the night of Halloween
Nothing will be found, what’s to see has been seen
But if you go monster hunting of the night before
You may just uncover more than you bargained for.
