There was once a man who ate his own head
He would eat and eat no matter what people said
"This is no good for you, you have to stop!"
"You won't have enough brains to be a lawyer or cop!"
"Discontinue this madness and put down your utensil and tool!"
"Or fear the fate of forever being labeled a fool!"
But the man paid no mind to the concerned meeting
And just carried on cutting, and chewing, and eating
See the man did not care if anyone understood
If you thought him daft or brains made out of wood
It does not matter to him what you and I think
Because to him, you and I are not worth a second blink
You see the man was special, no one could disagree
So much more special than you and than me
So special in fact, only one diet would suffice
He could not dine on our food, us pitiful mice
A menu of him is all that would do
Something so special that he will soon rue
So he ate, and ate, and ate, and ate
Never once ever reflecting on his fate
He was not at all concerned about the begs and pleads
Once he was done with his head he moved to his knees
From his knees to his arms, from his arms to his bone
To the point that when somebody knocked, nobody was home
So don't be like the man that ate his own head
Pay attention to what people say and what they have said
Listen and learn and tell yourself, "Stop!"
"Now they had a point, whether lawyer or cop."
"They are giving me knowledge and lessons to use as a tool!"
"Things to help me so I am not forever labeled a fool!"
